What is the difference between skateboard and surfboard?
The difference between land surfboard and skateboard:
1. Skateboard
Skateboarding is evolved from surfing. Both need to master the balance and control the board, which is its foundation and the most fundamental. Skateboarding mainly relies on human acceleration, and some of its playing methods rely on the downhill terrain, although skateboarding is evolved from surfing.
However, modern skateboarding has already surpassed surfing and become a unique sports category. The environmental requirements of the two are also different. Skateboarding is the extension of surfing on land, without geographical and climatic constraints.
2. Land surfboard
Surfboards mainly rely on the undulation and diffusion of the waves to produce slope and driving effect. There are few places suitable for surfing in China, and most of them are inland, while there are many places for skateboarding.
However, the bridge of the land surfboard is alive. Unlike the ordinary skateboard, it uses the body swing and the center of gravity to shift back and forth to imitate the action of surfing and move forward on the land. The board surface of the land surfboard usually looks thick and round, and the width is generally about 25cm or wider, so the width can be more accurate when the feet transmit power to the support.
